3 Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Stemmons Freeway in Dallas

Three Hospitalized after Dallas Two-Vehicle Crash on Stemmons Freeway

Dallas, Texas (July 7, 2019) – Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday in Dallas, according to a local news source.

The crash took place on Saturday, June 6, on Stemmons Freeway.

Authorities said a car and a pickup truck collided for unknown reasons on the freeway.

The impact caused the pickup to jump the guardrail and go down an embankment at the Oak Lawn exit while the car rode the guardrail, before hitting a pole that holds up a large overhead sign.

Firefighters had to extricate two people from the car.

The two victims and the pickup driver who had sustained minor injuries were taken to the hospital for treatment. They are all expected to survive.

The crash remains under investigation.
