5 Seriously Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash at North CR 3100 and Hwy 62/82 near Idalou

Five Seriously Injured in Idalou Two-Vehicle Crash at North County Road 3100 and Hwy 62/82

Idalou, Texas (July 17, 2020) – Five people were seriously injured Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash near Idalou, according to officials.

The crash happened just before 1:00 p.m. July 16, in the area of North County Road 3100 and Hwy 62/82 near FM 1729.

Officials said a white pickup was traveling northbound on North County Road 3100 when it failed to yield the right of way and crashed into a black passenger car that was traveling on Highway 62/82.

The pickup driver, a Lubbock man, was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries.

The driver of the passenger car, a Ralls woman, and her passengers, two adults and a juvenile were taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
