Garret Davis, Keaton Carnley Killed in 2-Car Accident on E. Slaughter Lane in Austin

Garret Davis and Keaton Carnley ID’d as Two Men Killed in Austin Crash on E. Slaughter Lane near Interstate 35
Austin, Texas (April 4, 2019) – The two men who were killed Tuesday night in a two-vehicle crash in southeast Austin has been identified by police as Garret Evan Davis and Keaton Michael Carnley, both 27.
The fatal crash occurred at about 10:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 2 on E. Slaughter Lane near Interstate 35.
According to the police, Davis was driving a 2017 Subaru Forester eastbound on E. Slaughter Lane when he tried to make a left turn and collided with a westbound 1996 Chevrolet truck.
Police said Davis was attempting to enter an apartment complex when he failed to yield right of way.
Davis and his passenger, Carnley, were transported to a hospital, where both died. The Chevrolet truck driver sustained minor injuries.
