5 Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on I-30 in Fort Worth

Five Hurt in Fort Worth Car Crash on Interstate 30

Fort Worth, Texas (August 30, 2019) – Multiple injuries were reported in a crash involving a wrong-way driver on Thursday morning in Fort Worth.

According to a local news source, the collision happened at about 2:00 a.m. August 29, on Interstate 30 at Green Oaks Road.

Authorities said an 18-wheeler truck, a Dodge Charger, and an SUV were involved in the wreck.

The Dodge was reportedly traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of I-30 when it collided with the SUV. The Dodge then collided with the 18-wheeler.

Five people were transported by ambulance to John Peter Smith Hospital with moderate-to-major injuries.

The driver of the Dodge was taken into custody after the accident.

The crash is under investigation.
