27-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Almeda Road

Houston, Texas (May 20, 2021) – The 27-year-old man who was injured in a hit-and-run crash earlier this month in Houston has died, according to the police.

The accident occurred around 3:05 a.m., May 8, in the 13600 block of Almeda Road.

Police said the man was crossing the street, outside of a crosswalk, when he was struck by a southbound vehicle.

The man was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital Medical Center, where he died on Saturday, May 15. His name has not been released.

The driver fled the scene after the accident.
