Man Injured in San Antonio Motorcycle Crash at Military Drive and Zarzamora Street near South Park Mall

San Antonio, Texas (July 14, 2021) – A man in his 30s was injured Tuesday night after he crashed his motorcycle into a police cruiser in San Antonio’s South Side, according to the police.

The crash happened just after 11:00 p.m., July 13, in the 2300 block of Military Drive at the intersection with South Zarzamora Street near South Park Mall.

Police said the man was riding a 2005 Honda 1000RR motorcycle westbound on Military Drive when he ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into a police cruiser that was crossing the intersection.

The man was taken to University Hospital in stable condition.

No other details were available.

An investigation is underway.
