Tanner Grosse, Tanner Houck Seriously Injured in Motorcycle Accident at 93rd Street and University Avenue in Lubbock

27-Year-Old Tanner Grosse and 29-Year-Old Tanner Houck Seriously Injured in Lubbock Motorcycle Accident at 93rd Street and University Avenue

Lubbock, Texas (April 24, 2020) – The two motorcyclists who were seriously injured in a traffic accident Thursday night in Lubbock have been identified as 27-year-old Tanner Grosse and 29-year-old Tanner Houck, according to police.

The crash occurred around 9:45 p.m., April 23, in the area of 93rd Street and University Avenue.

Police said 47-year-old Billy Martin was driving a pickup truck and was turning southbound on University Avenue from 93rd Street when he collided with two northbound motorcycles.

Both motorcyclists, Grosse and Houck, were taken to UMC with serious injuries. 

Martin and his minor passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The Major Crash Unit investigation is underway.
