72-Year-Old Woman Killed in Beaumont Pedestrian Accident on Washington Avenue

Beaumont, Texas (September 30, 2019) – A 72-year-old woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on Sunday in Beaumont, according to the police.

The accident happened at about 12:03 a.m. September 29, in the 2800 block of Washington Avenue.

Police said the woman was attempting to cross the road when she was hit by a westbound 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe.

The woman was killed in the crash.

According to witnesses, the woman had approached them in the parking lot asking for money.
