Edward Williams Killed in East Oak Cliff Two-Vehicle Crash on East Ledbetter Drive at Veterans Drive

East Oak Cliff, Texas (September 26, 2019) – A man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night on Loop 12 in east Oak Cliff, police said.

The fatal crash occurred at about 9:10 p.m. September 24, at East Ledbetter Drive and Veterans Drive.

Police said Edward Williams, 66, was driving a Chevy Tahoe on East Ledbetter Drive when he attempted to turn left onto Veterans Drive and was struck by a westbound Ford Crown Victoria.

Williams was taken to a local hospital where he was declared dead.

The Ford driver and front passenger were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Dallas police are investigating the crash.
