Alexia Scordelis ID’d as Teenager Killed in Round Rock Two-Vehicle Crash on CR 117 near Bluffstone Drive
Round Rock, Texas (February 22, 2019) – The teenager who was killed in a two-vehicle crash which left another person injured Thursday night near the Paloma Lake subdivision northeast of Round Rock has been identified as Alexia Scordelis,17, authorities said.
The fatal crash happened at about 5:11 p.m. February 21, on CR 117 near Bluffstone Drive.
DPS said a 2000 Plymouth Neon was heading southbound on CR 117 while a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado was heading northbound.
The Neon driver then tried to turn left onto Bluffstone Drive in front of the Silverado. The Silverado then hit the passenger side of the Neon.
The Neon driver and the Scordelis, who was a passenger, were taken to Seton Medical Center where Scordelis was declared dead.
Scordelis, was a Stony Point High School student, according to the Round Rock ISD.
The DPS is conducting the investigation.
