Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on FM 529 in Harris County

Rider Airlifted after Harris County Motorcycle Accident on FM 529 near N Eldridge Parkway

Harris County, Texas (October 23, 2022) – A motorcyclist was critically injured in a wrong-way crash Saturday night in northwest Harris County, authorities said.

The collision happened at around 8:30 p.m. Saturday, October 22 on FM 529 near N. Eldridge Parkway.

According to the authorities, a man was driving a slingshot westbound in the eastbound lanes when he slammed into four other vehicles.

The man was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition. His name was not immediately disclosed.

No other injuries were reported.

It is undetermined if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash, which remains under investigation.
