Brandon Wayne Clifton and Kelly Morgan Clifton Injured in Fatal Ballinger Two-Vehicle Crash on US-83
Ballinger, Texas (January 21, 2020) – A San Angelo couple was injured in a two-vehicle crash that left a woman dead Monday afternoon near Ballinger, according to a local news release.
The crash happened on Monday, January 20, on US-83.
As per the release, Susan Marie Rodriguez, 60, of Lytle, was driving a 2018 Chevrolet Suburban when she veered into the southbound lane and was hit by a 2017 Nissan Armada occupied by the couple.
Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene.
The couple, Brandon Wayne Clifton, 36, and Kelly Morgan Clifton, 35, was taken to Shannon Medical Center for treatment.
Brandon had a serious incapacitating injury, and Kelly had incapacitating injuries but was listed in stable condition.
All three were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
