1 Killed, 4 Injured in Head-On Crash on FM 620 in Travis County

One Killed and Four Injured in Travis County Car Crash on FM 620 near Quinlan Park

Travis County, Texas (July 26, 2020) – One person was killed, and four others were injured in a head-on collision Wednesday night in Travis County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The fatal crash happened around 8:17 p.m., July 22, in the 5200 block of RM 620, just east of the Quinlan Park.

DPS said a 2014 Kia Forte, occupied by four females, was heading eastbound on the highway while a Jeep Wrangler driven by a male was heading westbound.

The Kia crossed the double solid yellow lines into the westbound lanes and crashed head-on into the 2015 Jeep Wrangler.

One of the females in the Kia was declared dead at the scene. The other three occupants were taken to St David’s Round Rock Medical Center for treatment.

The Jeep driver was treated and released at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
