Woman Injured in San Antonio Car Crash on Interstate 35

San Antonio, Texas (October 6, 2021) – According to the police, a woman was injured early Tuesday morning in a rollover crash in San Antonio.

The crash happened around 4:30 a.m., October 5, on Interstate 35 near Eisenhower Road.

Police said a woman was driving on the interstate when she fell asleep at the wheel and clipped the rear of an 18-wheeler.

The woman’s car rolled over and burst into flames after the crash.

The woman was taken to the hospital with a few bumps and scratches.

The 18-wheeler driver was unaware of the crash and kept going.

As firefighters were extinguishing the car fire, an SUV crashed into a pickup truck that had stopped further down the road. It’s unclear if anyone was injured in that crash.

The crash closed Interstate 35 but has since been reopened.

The crash remains under investigation.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons of driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
