Ryan Lutz Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on 25th Street

Houston, Texas (April 20, 2022) – The 35-year-old man who was critically injured on April 5 in a pedestrian accident in Houston has died, according to the police.

Ryan Lutz was pronounced dead on April 15.

The accident happened around 6:05 a.m., in the 900 block of West 25th Street.

Police said Lutz was on a routine morning walk with his dog, Orbit, and were walking eastbound in the eastbound lane when a black Chevrolet Silverado sped from behind and hit the two.

Lutz was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition, where he died on Friday, April 15.

A GoFundMe has been set up to help his family with medical expenses

The truck driver, a 33-year-old man, remained at the scene and was not intoxicated.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
