Police Officer Injured in El Paso Motorcycle Accident at Wyoming and Santa Fe

El Paso, Texas (August 21, 2019) – An El Paso Police Department motorcycle officer was injured in a traffic accident Tuesday afternoon in Downtown El Paso, according to the authorities.

The accident occurred just after 12:00 p.m. August 20, in the area of Wyoming and Santa Fe. 

Authorities said the officer was hit by a vehicle at the intersection.

The officer was taken to Las Palmas with minor injuries.

No further details were provided.

An investigation is ongoing.
