Sterling Turner-Williams Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on Mopac Expressway

Austin, Texas (December 3, 2021) – The 14-year-old girl who was killed on November 23 in a pedestrian accident in Austin has been identified as Sterling Turner-Williams, 14, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 8:49 p.m., in the 2700 block of southbound Mopac Expressway.

Police said a Ford F150 was traveling southbound when it struck Turner-Williams, who was crossing westbound.

Turner-Williams was taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, where she later died.

 The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The police are investigating the crash.
