Joshua Fowler, Lane Benavides Hospitalized after Ganado Crash on CR 238 and CR 172

Ganado, Texas (March 13, 2019) – A two-vehicle collision left two teenagers injured on Sunday evening near Ganado, according to the DPS.
The wreck happened at about 6 p.m. Sunday, March 10 on County Road 238 and County Road 172.
DPS said Thomas Jackson Williams, 47, of Port O’Connor, was driving a 2007 Dodge pickup southbound on CR 172 when he collided with a 1997 Nissan pickup that failed to yield at the intersection.
The driver of the Nissan, Joshua Wade Fowler, 16, of Ganado, sustained major injuries and was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Medical Center in Houston. His passenger,  Lane Eric Benavides, 15, of Ganado, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Citizens Medical Center.
No other injuries were reported.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
