Man Hospitalized after San Antonio Bicycle Accident on E. Cypress Street and N. Main Avenue
San Antonio, Texas (January 11, 2019) – A bicyclist was struck and injured by a vehicle in a suspected DUI crash near Crockett Park in San Antonio early Friday morning, police said.
The crash occurred at about 2:00 a.m. on E. Cypress Street and N. Main Avenue.
According to the police, a man was riding his bicycle in front of two cars when one of them rear-ended him.
The bicyclist was transported to a hospital in unknown condition.
As per the report, the driver of the vehicle involved was assessed for DUI.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
