John Guerra Killed in Corpus Christi Pedestrian Accident on Gollihar Road

Corpus Christi, Texas (December 1, 2023) – A 68-year-old man was killed on November 19 in a hit-and-run accident in Corpus Christi, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 7:10 p.m., in the 2700 block of Gollihar Road.

Police said John Guerra was pushing a shopping cart and was attempting to cross the street, outside of a crosswalk, when he was struck by an unknown car that then fled the scene.

Guerra was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

No further details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
