Woman Killed in Harris County Pedestrian Accident at Wimbledon Estates Drive and Stuebner Airline Road near Klein High School

Harris County, Texas (January 7, 2020) – A woman in her 40s was fatally hit by an SUV Monday evening in northwest Harris County, according to the authorities.

The deadly accident occurred just before 7:00 p.m., January 6, at the intersection of Wimbledon Estates Drive and Stuebner Airline Road, near Klein High School.

Deputies said the woman was crossing the street in a crosswalk when she was hit by a vehicle at the intersection. She was trying to get home to her apartment after picking up groceries from a nearby store.

The woman was rushed to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.

A mother, father, and two children, who were in the SUV, were uninjured in the crash. The family remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
