7 Hospitalized After Lubbock Two-Vehicle Crash at U.S. Highway 84 and FM 2641 (CR 6200)

Lubbock, Texas (June 22, 2020) – According to a local news source, seven people were injured Sunday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash, just northwest of Lubbock.

The crash was reported around 5:00 p.m. on June 21, at the intersection of U.S. Highway 84 and Farm-to-Market Road 2641 (County Road 6200).

DPS said a vehicle failed to yield the right of way on FM 2641 and crashed into another vehicle that was traveling on US 84.

Five occupants in the first vehicle and two occupants in the second vehicle were taken to University Medical Center with minor injuries.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
