Christine Badillo Killed in Bexar County Two-Vehicle Crash on Loop 1604 and Benton City Road

Bexar County, Texas (November 20, 2020) – Two women were killed in a head-on collision Wednesday morning in South Bexar County, according to deputies.

The fatal crash happened on November 18, on Loop 1604 and Benton City Road.

Deputies said a vehicle was speeding westbound on Loop 1604 when it ran off the side of the highway. The driver then tried to get back onto the highway, but they swerved into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into an oncoming vehicle.

Two women, Christine Badillo, 28, and Amanda Yvette Jimenez, 30, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash closed the eastbound and the westbound lanes of Loop 1604 between Somerset Road and Interstate 35.

The crash remains under investigation.
