Deputy Hurt in Waco Car Crash on W Waco Drive and North Valley Mills Drive

Waco, Texas (July 23, 2019) – A sheriff’s deputy was hurt in a crash between two vehicles on Monday evening in Waco, according to the authorities.

The wreck happened at the intersection of W Waco Drive and North Valley Mills Drive on Monday, July 22.

Authorities said a vehicle driven by a McLennan County deputy was traveling eastbound on W Waco Drive when it collided with a woman who turned left in front of the patrol unit.

The deputy was taken to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest for treatment.

The crash is under investigation.
