Cleveland Lavern Harris Critically Injured in Odessa Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on South Dixie Boulevard
Odessa, Texas (June 24, 2020) – A 30-year-old Odessa man was critically injured Saturday night in a hit-and-run accident in south Odessa, according to Odessa Police Department.
The accident happened at about 10:30 p.m. on June 20, in the 3300 block of South Dixie Boulevard.
Police said Cleveland Lavern Harris was walking westbound on the side roadway when he was struck by a pickup truck.
The driver fled the scene without rendering aid.
Harris was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The pickup was described as a 2015-2019 Ford F-150 with a missing passenger-side mirror and radio antenna.
