Edgar Alexis Camacho Killed in Midland County Two-Vehicle Crash on CR 1232 at CR 1160

Midland County, Texas – A man was killed Sunday night in a crash involving a semi-truck in Midland County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 10:27 p.m., February 11, at the intersection of CR 1232 and CR 1160.

DPS said a 2005 Chevrolet Impala was traveling westbound on CR 1232 while a 2001 International truck with a trailer was traveling southbound on CR 1160. The Impala disregarded the stop sign at the intersection and hit the trailer of the International truck.

The Impala driver, Edgar Alexis Camacho, 24, of Cortez, Colorado, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver of the International truck and trailer was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
