80-Year-Old Woman Killed in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on Fannin Street at Pressler

Houston, Texas (May 9, 2021) – An 80-year-old woman was killed last month in a two-vehicle crash in Houston, according to the police.

The fatal crash occurred around 5:35 p.m., April 27, at the intersection of Fannin Street and Pressler.

Police said a silver Chevrolet Camaro was traveling eastbound in the 1000 block of Pressler at the 6900 block of Fannin Street while a silver Chevrolet Captiva was traveling northbound on Fannin.

The Captiva driver ran the red light at the intersection and struck the Camaro.

A passenger in the Captiva, an 80-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries on May 3.

The police are investigating the crash.
