Javier Vargas-Ayala ID’d as Man Killed in Palmview Crash at Minnesota Road and 2 Mile Line Road
Palmview, Texas (January 27, 2019) – The man who was killed Saturday afternoon in a traffic crash north of Palmview has been identified as Javier Angel Vargas-Ayala, 54, of Mission, according to a local news source.
The deadly accident happened just before 3:30 p.m. Saturday, January 26 on Minnesota Rd. and 2 Mile Line Road.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a 2017 white GMC Yukon was heading southbound on Minnesota Road when for an undetermined reason it collided with a 1999 brown Mercedes Benz at the intersection.
Ayala, who was a passenger in the Mercedes Benz, declared deceased at the scene of the accident.
The crash remains under investigation by DPS.
