The accident happened at about 3 p.m. on July 12 on Sunset Drive at Southwest Boulevard.

San Angelo, TX – Two people were injured following a two-vehicle collision on Sunset Drive in San Angelo Friday Afternoon, according to the San Angelo Police Department.
The accident, involving a tan Chrysler Town and County minivan and a black Chevy Malibu, happened at about 3 p.m. on July 12 on Sunset Drive at Southwest Boulevard.
Police said the Chevy was heading westbound on Sunset Drive while the minivan was traveling eastbound on the same road. The minivan attempted to make a left turn on Southwest Boulevard and collided with the Malibu.
Both drivers were injured and emergency crews transported them to Shannon Medical Center for treatment. The patients were transported separately.
The impact sent both vehicles off the roadway with the minivan crashing into a brick sign for “Ambassador Square”
According to the San Angelo PD, initial investigation revealed that the driver of the minivan had a green light but not a green arrow at the time of the crash.
