The police said the accident happened at 2:16 a.m. on November 28 in the eastbound toll lanes of the 7100 block of Loop 820.

North Richland Hills, TX – A woman was killed and a man was critically injured after a wrong-way traffic collision on Loop 820 in North Richland Hills early Thursday, according to the North Richland Hills police.
The police said the accident happened at 2:16 a.m. on November 28 in the eastbound toll lanes of the 7100 block of Loop 820.
As per the North Richland Hills, a preliminary investigation revealed that a man driving his vehicle westbound in the eastbound lane when he collided with an eastbound vehicle operated by a 21-year-old woman.
Police said the woman sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. Her name will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office once the next of kin has been notified.
The wrong-way driver, a 45-year-old, was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, police said.
No additional information regarding the accident was provided.
The collision remains under investigation.
