Liberty County, TX – A 32-year-old Conroe man was killed in a three-vehicle accident at an intersection in Cleveland early Monday morning, according to a report by the Liberty County office of the Texas Department of Public Safety.

DPS said a 2015 Nissan Altima, operated by the Conroe man, was traveling at a very high rate of speed in the center turn lane of State Highway 321 (TX-105).
As the Altima approached Co. Road 2243, it collided with a 1999 Ford F-250 pickup truck driven by 34-year-old Espiridion Ventura of Waller. Authorities said Ventura was turning southbound onto County Road 314 when the two vehicles collided head-on.
Authorities said the Conroe man was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Pct. 5 Justice of the Peace Wade Brown.
A third vehicle, described as a 2017 Kia Forte driven by Donna Enderle, 52, of Liberty, was also involved in the collision.
Ventura and Enderle were not injured in the incident.
Highwya 321 was closedshut down for more than three hours as emergency crews and investigators worked at the sscene. conducted their investigation and cleared the scene.
This deadly incident happens barely three days after another multi-vehicle traffic collision involving two 18-wheelers at the same intersection left several people injured.
