Houston, TX – An 83-year-old  man died days after being involved in a collision in Houston in December, according to a report by the Houston Police Department.

The wreck happened in the 8500 block of Monroe Road at about 11:30 a.m. on December 11.

The HPD reports that a grey Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was heading south on Monroe Road when it collided with a white Honda Civic, whose driver failed to yield to the right of way.

The driver of the Honda reportedly sought own treatment but was later pronounced deceased on December 30.
The victim was only identified as an 83-year-old man.

No further details were released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
