Dallas, TX – Two deputies were injured in a car accident involving a Dallas County Sheriff’s Department vehicle on Saturday morning, according to the authorities.
The collision happened on I-20 and Cockrell Hill Road at about 7:20 a.m.
According to the report, the deputies were in a squad vehicle at the scene of an earlier collision when the squad car was rear-ended by a black Mercedes sedan.
Two deputies were transported to a hospital and were said to be in stable condition.
The driver of the sedan was also hospitalized and was in stable condition.
The accident is under investigation.
