Houston, TX. – One person was killed in a collision involving a wrong-way collision on Thursday morning in Houston.
According to the Houston Police Department, the accident happened around 3 a.m. on the North Freeway.
A 35-year-old woman was driving a black Ford F-150 southbound in the northbound lanes when she collided with a silver Jeep driven by a man in his 50s.
The unidentified man was killed in the collision.
The woman reportedly showed signs of impairment and was taken into custody.
A third vehicle involved in the collision hit road debris, while the fourth vehicle hit the Ford F-150.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
