The driver of the second vehicle was taken to hospital in critical condition

Dallas, TX. – One person was person was injured in a collision involving a Dallas Fire-Rescue ambulance on Saturday night.
According to a police report, the accident happened around 9:39 p.m. at the intersection of Hawthorne and Maple Avenues.
An ambulance responding to an emergency call was traveling on Maple Avenue when it crashed into another vehicle.
The driver of the second vehicle was taken to hospital in critical condition.
The condition of two paramedics was not disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
