Midland County, TX – The man who was killed and the woman who was seriously injured following a two-vehicle traffic collision at an intersection in Midland County Monday morning have been identified, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).

The Texas DPS identified the deceased man as 55-year-old Brock D. Davidson of St. Johns, Florida, and the injured woman as 48-year-old Homar Hernandez of Eagle Pass, Texas.

Brock Davidson was driving a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado that ran a stop sign at the intersection of South CR 1110 and West CR 173 and collided with a 2016 Ford F-350 operated by Homar Hernandez.

Davidson and Hernandez were transported to Midland Memorial Hospital where Davidson died.

Hernandez remains hospitalized in serious condition.

DPS said the Silverado failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign, entered the intersection, and collided with the Ford truck.

Both drivers were transported to Midland Memorial Hospital. Unfortunately, the driver of the Silverado, a 55-year-old Florida man, was pronounced dead by medical staff.

The driver of the truck, a 48-year-old woman, remains in serious condition, according to DPS.

The incident remains under investigation.
