Christopher Moreno and Quadre Brookins were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries
Swisher County, TX. – One person was killed in a car accident that left three others injured on Wednesday morning in Swisher County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the accident happened around 1:10 a.m. on Interstate 27.
37-year-old Christopher Moreno of Happy, Texas, was driving a 2005 Mercedes C240 southbound when he lost control and collided head-on with a 2022 Freightliner Cascadia towing a semi-trailer southbound.
34-year-old Glennewyn Johnson of Happy, Texas, was a passenger in the Mercedes and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Moreno and his second passenger, 29-year-old Quadre Brookins of Plainview, Texas, were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
McElroy suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene and released.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
