The front seat passenger of the Volkswagen suffered a major head injury and was taken to a Midland Memorial Hospital

Midland, TX. – At least nine people including seven children were injured in a collision at an intersection in Midland.
According to the Midland Police Department (MPD), the accident happened around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Big Spring Street and Wadley Avenue.
A 2001 Volkswagen Atlas was traveling east on West Wadley Avenue when it failed to yield the right of way and collided with a 2024 Subaru Legacy.
The driver and passenger of the Subaru Legacy suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
The front seat passenger of the Volkswagen suffered a major head injury and was taken to a Midland Memorial Hospital.
The driver of the Volkswagen and seven children were transported to hospital for precautionary measures.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
