A silver pickup truck stopped to prevent itself from hitting the sedan but was rear-ended by a dump truck

Corpus Christi, TX. – At least one person was injured in a car accident on Monday morning in Corpus Christi.
According to the police, the accident happened around 8:09 a.m. on SPID and Nile Drive.
An unsecured ladder and sheetrock flew out of the bed of a black pickup truck and hit a sedan traveling behind it.
A silver pickup truck stopped to prevent itself from hitting the sedan but was rear-ended by a dump truck.
The driver of the silver pickup truck was hospitalized with minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
