A vehicle was traveling east on Stratford Drive when it collided with another vehicle traveling south on Garland Avenue

Garland, TX. – 18-year-old Eric Lopez Guerrero has been identified by the Dallas County Medical Examiner as the teen who died in a two-vehicle collision in Garland on Friday.
According to the Garland Police Department, the accident happened around 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of Garland Avenue and Stratford Drive.
A vehicle was traveling east on Stratford Drive when it collided with another vehicle traveling south on Garland Avenue.
Guerrero was ejected from one of the cars and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Five people were injured in the accident and were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
