San Antonio, TX – Four people were hospitalized early Friday morning following a multi-car traffic collision on West Loop 1604 in San Antonio’s Northwest Side
The accident happened at about 3 a.m. on February 28 on West Loop 1604 near Shaenfield Road.
According to San Antonio police, a pickup truck slammed into an abandoned vehicle in the westbound lanes of Lopp 1604.
Reportedly, the driver was getting out of his pickup when another vehicle slammed into the truck.
The pickup driver and the driver of the third car sustained head injuries and were rushed to hospitals.
Two passengers were transported to hospitals as a precaution.
West Loop 1604 was shut down for several hours as officers investigated the incident.
