Martin Holguin Duran dies in collision with 18-wheeler on Loop 338 near mile marker 254 in Ector County

Ector County, TX. – Martin A. Holguin Duran, 59, was killed in a car accident on Sunday evening in Odessa.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 7:17 p.m. on Loop 338, near mile marker 254.
Duran was driving a Dodge Ram 1500 eastbound on Loop 338 and was attempting to pass another vehicle when he collided head-on with an 18-wheeler driven by 31-year-old Ruthman J. Lozano Jaramillo, of Midland.
Duran, a resident of Odessa, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The semi-truck accident was unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
