A Ford Mustang was traveling northbound on CR 1140 when it collided with a Ford Fusion traveling eastbound on BI-20

Midland County, TX. – 18-year-old Osmar Josue Guerrero has been identified as the teen who died in a collision on Sunday evening in Midland County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 8:55 p.m. on Business 20 and CR 1140.
A Ford Mustang was traveling northbound on CR 1140 when the driver disregarded a stop sign at the intersection and collided with a Ford Fusion traveling eastbound on BI-20.
The impact of the collision sent the Mustang into the eastbound lanes of Business 20, where it was hit by a Chevrolet Suburban traveling eastbound.
Guerrero, of Midland, was a passenger in the Mustang and was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital, where he died while receiving treatment.
The driver of the Mustang, 22-year-old Pedro Antonio Lopez, Jr., of Penitas, Texas, was hospitalized with minor injuries.
The driver of the Suburban was also hospitalized with minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
