Abilene, TX. – Six people were injured in a car accident on Thursday morning in Abilene.
According to the police, the accident happened around 9 a.m. on S Danville Drive near Ivanhoe Lane.
A van carrying six adult passengers was in the merging lane attempting to enter the freeway when it was struck by a pickup truck.
The impact of the collision sent both vehicles off the roadway and into a ditch.
All six passengers in the van suffered minor injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
