Yolanda Sandoval, who was a passenger in the Ford, and the driver of the black Freightliner were injured in the accident

Laredo, TX. – 63-year-old Eduardo Rodriguez was killed in a car accident on Wednesday afternoon in Laredo.
According to the Laredo Police Department, the accident happened around 3:30 p.m. on Mines Road at Camino Colombia.
Rodriguez was driving a 2005 white Ford Excursion when he reportedly disregarded a stop sign and was hit by a black Freightliner.
The car rolled over and collided with a white Freightliner waiting for its turn at the intersection.
Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene.
60-year-old Yolanda Sandoval, who was a passenger in the Ford, and the driver of the black Freightliner were injured in the accident and were transported to Doctors Hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
