A sedan driver attempted to turn left onto SH 16 from a private drive and was hit by a pickup truck
Comanche County, TX. – 47-year-old Kelley Jo Wellmaker of Brownwood was killed in a car accident that happened on Thursday afternoon in Comanche County.
According to the police, the accident happened at State Highway 16 north of CR 413 at around 1:18 p.m.
A sedan driver attempted to turn left onto SH 16 from a private drive and was hit by a pickup truck.
Wellmaker was driving the sedan and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The pickup driver sustained minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
