Corey Mansell was ejected from his vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene

Batesville, TX. – Corey Mansell, 33, was killed in a car accident on Tuesday morning in Batesville.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened on Farm-to-Market Road 117 at around 6:24 a.m.
Mansell was driving a Ford-350 south on Farm-to-Market Road 117 when he was struck by a Ford-550 towing a flatbed trailer that failed to yield the right of way.
The truck overturned and Mansell was ejected.
The Uvalde man was pronounced dead at the scene.
DPS is investigating the cause of the accident.
