The fatal accident happened at about 6 p.m. on Friday, April 4 on FM 51, about half a mile south of Veal Station Road between Weatherford and Springtown, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Paker County, TX – A woman was killed and four other people, including three kids, were seriously injured following a two-vehicle traffic collision in Parler County on Friday evening.
The fatal accident happened at about 6 p.m. on Friday, April 4 on FM 51, about half a mile south of Veal Station Road between Weatherford and Springtown, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
DPS said, Geneva Griffith, 70, of Granbury, was driving a Buick Enclave southbound on FM 51, when for some reason, the vehicle crossed the center line into oncoming traffic and struck a Chevrolet Traverse.
Griffith sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
The driver of the Chevrolet, an unidentified woman, and her passengers – a 14-year-old boy, a 14-year-old girl, and a 13-year-old girl were transported to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth in critical condition.
No additional information regarding the incident was provided.
The collision remains under investigation.
