The driver of the Chevrolet was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries

Moore County, TX. – One woman was killed in a car accident on Tuesday night in Dumas.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 8:50 p.m. on FFA Lane.
A 2002 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling east on FFA Lane when it drifted into the westbound lanes and collided head-on with a westbound 1998 Ford Taurus.
The 67-year-old woman driving the Ford Taurus was transported to an area hospital where she later died.
The driver of the Chevrolet was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
