One Dies in McAllen Car Accident on South Ware Road

McAllen, TX. – One person was killed in a collision that happened on Tuesday morning in McAllen, according to the McAllen Police Department.
The accident occurred in the 3200 block of South Ware Road at around 1:57 p.m. on April 8.
A 40-year-old off-duty Border Patrol agent was driving a Chevrolet Tahoe and was involved in a collision with a GMC pickup in the area.
One of the vehicles rolled over after the collision.
The driver of the Chevrolet was rushed to a hospital, where he later driver died.
The occupants of the GMC were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
